What we collect
We may collect:
- Name, email address, phone number and delivery address when you order or contact us
- Order details (products, personalisation notes, colour and size choices, uploaded images)
- Payment-related information processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card details)
- Technical and usage data collected by analytics tools (see Analytics below), such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you move through the site
Why we use your data
We use personal data to:
- Fulfil contracts (process and deliver orders)
- Respond to enquiries
- Meet legal obligations (for example tax and accounting records)
- Pursue legitimate interests such as improving the website and preventing fraud, balanced against your rights
Uploaded images
Images you upload are used only to produce your order and for related customer service. We do not sell your images or use them for marketing without your permission.
Sharing your data
We share data only as needed with payment providers, delivery partners, and service providers that host forms, email, the website or analytics. This includes Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Microsoft Clarity). We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
Order and customer records are kept as long as needed for fulfilment, returns, accounting and legal requirements, then deleted or anonymised where practicable.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to certain processing. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential storage in your browser so the site can function, for example keeping items in your shopping basket (local storage). These are necessary for the checkout to work.
We also use analytics technologies described below. These may set cookies or similar identifiers. You can block cookies in your browser settings; essential basket storage may then stop working until cookies or site data are allowed again.
Analytics
We use two analytics services to understand how the website is used, which pages are popular, where visitors are roughly located, and where people drop off during an order (for example adding items to the basket but not completing payment). We use this information to improve the site and customer journey. The legal basis is our legitimate interests in running and improving a small online shop.
Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) records page views, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, and events such as adding an item to the basket, starting checkout and completing a purchase. It does not tell us your name. Google’s privacy information is at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Microsoft Clarity (provided by Microsoft) records how people use the site, including heatmaps and session recordings (mouse movement, taps and scrolling). Recordings help us see where the layout is confusing. Clarity may collect device and browser data and a limited view of on-screen activity. We do not use Clarity recordings to identify you by name. Microsoft’s privacy information is at privacy.microsoft.com. You can also use browser controls to limit cookies and tracking.
Analytics data is stored by those providers according to their own retention periods. We do not use analytics to show you personalised ads.
Children
Our site is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
